Beginning of the journey

so this is the beginning, on august 15th i will be departing to seattle, washington to ride my bicycle back to virginia. I really cant wait to just hit the road. Currently im taking 2 classes at Georgia State working part time as a youth ministry intern, and doing pt work at sears parts and service. theres quite a bit of stuff going on. I am also preparing for showing my artwork at Mocha Match coffee bar in East Decatur Village on august 4th. so save the date and come on out. it will be great goodness with a few bands rolling through the night. My art will also be for sale, and you can check some of it out at www.torndesigns.com . This blog will pretty much be for my friends to keep track of where i am when im out riding and so they can be living parts of my journey through my stories. i hope to have my tenative itenerary up sometime soon and to have my blog page decked out and customized. i think i may turn my bike ride into a fundraiser to help send me back to indonesia to go and re-build kids bikes out there. when i was there i wanted to ride, but bottom brackets were shot, handle bars were loose, bearings were busted, and brakes didnt brake. you had to use the skid the foot action. im estimating that the fundraising goal i will set will be $4,000 dollars and i will find a way to get it tax deductible. so if youre interested in donating e-mail me chocolatesoupcan@gmail.com
