Aftermath and Destruction

Well, there probably aren't many of you who regularly check to see whats on here to see whats new in my life. Someone might just check soon though. I've been back in the states for almost 3 months and its been crazy. There just hasn't been a good chill/reflect transition. As soon as i got back from Indonesia, its been moving and job hunting and working. Well it looks like it may be that all over again. I am looking to move to New Orleans, and help in the aftermath of Katrina. I have an interview with their public school system on may 5th, and will probably be out there by the last week of may to assist with Crossroads missions for the summer. A lot of people think i am crazy to want to teach out there, but theres just so much more of a chance to impact lives and to be a part of the great story of helping those kids, and families. I think most of us dont realize that there is still so much to be done over there. Over easter weekend it seemed like maybe 10% of the population had returned. there are so many houses that are just a wreck, or uninhabited. Though the landscape may be rough, peoples hearts arent. we shall see what is to happen in the up coming months.

thats the word, turd, peace
