Missoula Montana

So ive changed time zones 3 times so far. It's quite odd. So i am here in Missoula and im camping out in the back yard of a families house, its pretty awesome. Missoula seems like an awesome town. I've decided to get a new saddle for my bike, bottom i have decided doesn't like my saddle as much as it should. I hope yall liked the audio posts, its a last resort thing but pretty darn cool. I know that some of yall probably cant check them for some odd reasons. so i guess im going to tell you some interesting now. i'll tell you about the misplaced or lost items.

So far ive lost
3 socks- 1 pair left somewhere, and 1 sock probably blew away somewhere.
1 solar light
1 headlamp
1 pant leg of my convertible pants. it probably blew off somewhere.

so sometimes when i sit down to type one of these blogs out i start to forget what i wanted to write about. This is also just as much for you as it is for me. If you have anything you want to know or a question you want to ask, e-mail me and i will write/discuss/talk about it in my next post. E-mail it to Michael@bikes4indo.com
ok im out for now. im going to put up some new photos on the website soon.

Yesterday and today has been awesome. Yesterday i went to calvary baptist and a bible fellowship in the evening. I ended up meeting a couple from redmond who went to Highland FBC where i camped out. It was awesome and i went to a crazy flea market thing, much like the big ones in atlanta, like the yellow daisy festival. well im updating the website at the moment so there should be week 3 photos up soon. I will be in the sticks probably until next weekend so there may not be much communication but we shall see. well i better roll hope you readers are having fun. ohhh and for any of you who want to try to send me something i believe you can look at my itenerary and pick a city proabably a week ahead and ship it to that post office box and address it to General Delivery: Michael Wong, and then call me and let me know where its going and i will swing by that post office and check it. thats a note from andrea sisson. alrighty peace out homeslices.

Scenic Byways

So i think Scenic byways should be deemed the definition of roads most traveled with by motorhomes, rv's, campers, trucks pulling trailers of camping stuff. Today i rode about 70 miles summiting 3 peaks each above 5000 ft. i've never realized the effects of high altitude and physical excercise. I felt at times i was about to hurl because my lungs got so dry from breathing too much because of dry air and less oxygen. I'm in Baker City, Oregon camping out in the front lawn of a lady named Donna. She seems pretty awesome. This is the first house im sleeping out where i have actually asked if i could camp in their front yard. Im here for 2 nights, tomorrow is my off day!!!!!
Today was pretty tough, it was a big mental day. The sun was blazing and the prairies offered little protection. On my hill climbs i just thought of companionship, and wanting someone to ride with because i was going crazy. My friend katie rode with me the first 18 miles out from Eugene earlier this week, after i ate breakfast with some fellow atlantan's the Brooks. The 18 miles riding with katie was awesome though, silent peer support, and funness. i will remember it forever.

Those folks at Highland First Baptist were awesome. i got to shower there and sleep on a nice lawn. They were also just great folks to talk and hang out with. Some much needed social interaction.

The toughest part so far is the lack of social interaction, which is good and bad. Most of you who know me have probably figured out that i pretty much thrive on social interaction.

ok i'll post up some week3 photos on the website tomorrow. peace outside
